The beginning of the end
Since starting this blog last week, I have had such an enormous amount of encouragement and positive feedback. I'm so grateful for all of...

"I don't need a prince to save me. I need a king to help me take over the world."
~ Allison Eckhart
I started Secrets of the Single Girl while navigating the absolute chaos of dating, relationships, friendships and life in Los Angeles. For years, I shared the good dates, the bad dates, the men I probably should have blocked, and everything I learned along the way.
Then something unexpected happened.
I actually found him.
But finding love doesn't mean the story ends. If anything, it just gives me more to talk about.
Welcome to Secrets of the Single Girl — dating, relationships, love, sex, friendship, beauty, travel, and all the wonderfully questionable decisions in between.
I survived the apps. I found my person. I still have secrets to tell.

I guess this is where I write about myself…a girl's favorite thing, right? I like long walks on the beach, tequila and puppies. And apparently, after all these years, this still sounds like a dating profile.
Here we go. I'm cough cough in my 30s, originally from Atlanta, and I've called Los Angeles home since 2013. I have a career I love, incredible friends, a slight tequila obsession, and more stories than I probably have any business putting on the internet.
I started Secrets of the Single Girl because of a broken heart…crazy, right? I had read a million self-help books and dating blogs trying to figure out what the hell I was doing wrong when I realized something: I wasn't alone.
So I started writing.
I wrote about the dates, the apps, the heartbreaks, the hookups, the red flags I definitely ignored, the men my friends warned me about, and the never-ending search for "the one."
And then, after 12 years on dating apps…
I found him.
Turns out the single girl got her happy ending. But don't worry — she didn't suddenly become boring.
Because finding the one doesn't mean I've forgotten everything it took to get here. And it definitely doesn't mean I've run out of things to say.
So consider this the next chapter of Secrets of the Single Girl: love, relationships, friendships, beauty, travel, life in Los Angeles, and all the things I've learned — usually the hard way — along the way.
I survived the apps. I found my person. And I still have secrets to tell. ♥
